Heaven Is Not Segregated

No matter what name you have placed on the afterlife What faith or lack there of that protects you and your wife

There is something important you should consider

There has never been a mention of a personalized ever after
With that being said if you have hatred in your heart

Heed my warning and use it to give your perception a new start

Whatever group of people you focus your hate

They will be in heaven and possibly greeting you at the pearly gates
You can not ask for the whites only section when you check in

What if Jesus is black will you loose your ear to ear grin

Will you demand to be sent to hell and try again

But I foresee the devil using your hatred against you until the end
If you believe the cops are out to get you and violate your rights

Don’t be surprised when they are celebrating in the heavenly light

A dislike for an individual is understandable

But to hate a whole group will cause you discomfort at God’s table
I can ramble on, using examples from every group

But hopefully I have made my point and you have time to recoup,

Time to readjust your perception and get your new life started

Because heaven is not segregated to satisfy your hatred

July 27

My birthday is the 27th day of July

But this day is about more than presents to me

My birthday was the only day I felt important

My birthday was my day, and that was different
My childhood wasn’t bad but I grew up dirt poor

I was never alone because my parents had four more

I shared everything I had from my clothes to my toys

It’s hard to have special days when you have 5 boys
But July 27 was my day, the cake even had my name

My birthday put every holiday throughout the year to shame

It was the day where I didn’t have to share

I didn’t have to worry about chores or even combing my hair
I never got fancy clothes or expensive presents

I never got wild parties or horses jumping over fences

I never minded that though because I had the spotlight

I was king of the land, the emperor of the gladiator fights
So no matter how many candles are on the cake

No matter days I waste or mistakes I make

The 27th of July will be my day, my light in the dark

Because that is the day God blessed the world with the Great Mark

America is Crying

Some of us are America’s children by birth others by adoption
Some came to visit and never left but America wasn’t pushed to exhaustion

She welcomed them all and shared her life liberty and pursuit of happiness

She only wanted peace and understanding at her address
Her children are numerous and diverse, they vary in appearance and education
They value different beliefs and have different perception

But they are all her children and must live by her guidelines

However America has been riddled with travesties going off like land mines
These travesties have divided America’s children causing them to fight

Some are starting to question and/or take others rights

A house divided against itself cannot stand

And as America’s children we must come together to heal this land
Hate cannot drive out hate only love can do that

And hate is what is crippling America, hate has stomped on Uncle Sam’s hat

Hate has drove a wedge among the children of America

But we must abandon this hate, abandon our judgement and come together
We must go arm in arm, hand in hand to the ones that wish to do us harm

And cast them from our fold, send them away from the farm

As Americans we must seek justice and not fall prey to vengeance

Because an eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind,

and a blind man cannot escape evil’s chain of bondage
